Hudson graduate Dominic Polifrone, a sophomore on the Baldwin Wallace (Berea) University men's tennis team, recently was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the second time in his career.
Polifrone recently finished undefeated in singles' play and dropped only one game in 10 sets during the Yellow Jackets' trip to Hilton Head, S.C.
He finished 5-0 in singles' play and won four of five doubles' matches. Polifrone has a 13-3 record in singles' play and a 12-4 record in doubles' play.
In two seasons, Polifrone has a compiled a singles record of 37-7 and a doubles record of 36-12.
Last season, Polifrone was an All-OAC honorable-mention pick and was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Scholar Athlete.
