The Hudson boys swimming and diving team was the runner-up at the Cleveland Division I district meet Feb. 18 at Cleveland State University's Busbey Natatorium.
The Explorers finished with 220 points. Solon narrowly won the 30-team competition with 223 points and Brecksville-Broadview Heights captured third (214).
Hudson's 400-yard freestyle relay team of Jay Johnson, Jacob Tuckerman, Caleb Tuckerman and Liam Clarke swam a first-place time of 3 minutes, 9.05 seconds.
