AURORA -- Four Greenmen athletes signed letters of intent Feb. 1 to attend colleges and continue their athletic careers.

All-Ohio football linebacker Bubba Arslanian will attend Division I University of Akron, Holden Semancik plans to play football at Division I Butler University in Indianapolis, basketball standout Syarra Sellers will go to NAIA Division II Siena Heights in Michigan and Anna Davis will play volleyball for Division II Urbana University.

A signing ceremony took place in Aurora High's media center.

In addition to several team, league, district and state honors in football, Arslanian has earned honors in baseball as a catcher and wrestling. He has been chosen to play in the Ohio North-South all-star game in April.

Included in his honors were AHS's most valuable player and recipient of the Paulie McGhee Award, both received last fall.

Semancik was AHS's lineman of the year last fall, as well as a first team Suburban League offensive selection, first team in the Associated Press' Inland District and third team all-Ohio. He also was selected to play in the Ohio North-South all-star game.

Sellers was selected a Suburban League first-team basketball player last year and was the squad's leading rebounder for the last two years. She was an all CVC pick in 2013-14 and 1014-15.

Davis was a Division I District 3 honorable mention last fall in volleyball and was named to the Suburban League's second team. She was CVC honorable mentioned in 2014-15 and SL honorable mention in 2015-16.
