Western Reserve Academy graduate Jack McCormick, a senior defender on the Colorado College men's soccer team, recently was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America second team.
McCormick started all 18 of the games that he played and ranked third on the team with 1,385 minutes. He played the entire game 17 times.
McCormick helped the Tigers, who finished 16-3-1 in 2016, get 34 shutouts during his career. Thirty of those shutouts took place during his three seasons as a starter.
McCormick scored 5 career goals, including a pair of game-winning goals.
He also was named an National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-American and is a two-time Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference selection.
