Aurora Seniors meet weekdays in the Walker Building.

Among activities are: Gentle yoga Fridays at 10 a.m., Arthritis Foundation exercise Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 p.m., bingo Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., chair volleyball Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 1:45 p.m.

Also, there are watercolor painting Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., knitting Thursdays at 1 p.m. and penny poker, canasta and euchre Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m.; walking videos Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m., beginning Tai Chi on Thursdays at 9 a.m. and mahjong lessons Wednesdays at 1 p.m.

Some other activities are blood pressure and glucose screening clinics the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.

Tech Tuesdays are offered from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Walker Building, when students from Harmon School and AHS will help seniors perform various tasks with laptops, digital cameras, e-readers, tablets and phones.

A Valentine's Day sweetheart dance will be Feb. 8 at noon at the Reminderville Athletic Club and a Presidents Day luncheon will be Feb. 22 at noon. The Retired Old Men Eating Out group will visit Ed's Restaurant in Stow on Feb. 16. A cabin fever luncheon will be Feb. 27 at noon.

Trips coming up are: Feb. 2 -- Weathervane Theater for "I Love You Because"; Feb. 6 -- Great Big Home and Garden Show at the IX Center; Feb. 9 -- Palace Theater for "The King and I"; Feb. 20 -- lunch bunch to Lager and Vine; Feb. 21 -- Hanna Theater for "Wait Until Dark"; Feb. 24 -- Severance Hall for Cleveland Orchestra.

Feb. 26 -- Kent State University for "Kiss Me Kate"; March 1 -- Cleveland Museum of Art; March 8 -- brown bag concert at Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland; March 13 -- Packard Music Hall for the Dublin Tenors and Celtic Women; March 20 -- lunch bunch to Slyman's in Independence; March 22 -- Mahoning Valley Casino in Youngstown.

The parks-rec department is in the Walker Building on West Pioneer Trail. Hours are weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
