WRA boys get
two more wins
The Western Reserve Academy boys basketball team earned its third straight win Jan. 28.
The Pioneers improved to 8-6 after posting a convincing 67-51 victory over Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby.
Hudson resident Michael Pamer led Reserve with 20 points and 9 assists and Cam Withers had 17 points and 7 rebounds.
Cooper Parrott added 12 points for WRA.
Host Reserve cruised to a 74-56 win over Cleveland JFK Jan. 27 at the Murdough Athletic Center.
Pamer led the way with 33 points. He made 7-of-10 shots from behind the 3-point arc.
Withers added 15 points and 9 rebounds and Parrott had 14 points for the Pioneers. Hudson resident Sam McLaughlin contributed 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
Reserve was scheduled to entertain Cleveland Collinwood Jan. 30. Results were not available at press time.
WRA is set to host Cleveland Whitney Young Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. The Pioneers are scheduled to visit Saltsburg, Pa., to play Kiski Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
