The Explorers earned wins over Ashtabula Lakeside (54-15), Bedford (52-28) and Bainbridge Township Kenston (37-36). Hudson lost to Mentor (53-13).
"Overall, I thought we wrestled well," Hudson head coach Joe Caniglia said. "We pulled together as a team and were able to win on criteria against Kenston.
"We continue to emphasize maximizing wins and minimizing losses and the guys are accepting their roles well.
"We are continuing to make progress and focus on our goals of improving each time out. We still need to attack opponents more, but that will come with experience."
Seniors Austin Mullen (160) Kyle Minor (182) and sophomore Michael Caniglia (160) each went 4-0. Mullen improved to 21-5, Minor moved to 22-5 and Michael Caniglia improved to 11-5..
"Austin is very strong physically and has good mat awareness," Caniglia said. "He really goes after people and his effort shows in his results.
"Kyle is solid offensively on his feet, but he is such a dominant wrestler from the top position that he can really wear guys down."
Senior Nicci Polifrone (113) went 3-1 on the day to improve to 17-7 and freshman Michael Mileski (120), juniors Joe Graf (126) and Matt Withem (145) and sophomore Jacob Peters (220) each had two wins for the Explorers (8-3).
