The Stow-Munroe Falls boys basketball team improved to 5-2 overall and 4-0 in the Suburban League National Conference after cruising past host Hudson 62-28 Jan. 3 at Ray "Buck" Hyser Gymnasium.
Trailing 7-3 midway through the first quarter, the Bulldogs took complete control with 19 consecutive points.
Stow made 12 3-pointers. Jordan Jolly led the Bulldogs with a game-high 13 points. Logan Lindsay had three of those triples in the third quarter on his way to a game-high 11 points.
Evan Bainbridge added 10 points for the Bulldogs. Alex Beck led the Explorers (2-5, 0-3) with 7 points.
Hudson's junior varsity team earned a 62-60 win in triple overtime.
Brandon Lal scored the game-winning layup with 49 seconds left. Lal and Kevin McBride each had 12 points to lead the Explorers.
The Hudson freshman team lost 48-46. Josh Andrassy scored the game-winning bucket for Stow with 7 seconds left.
