Aurora Seniors meet weekdays in the Walker Building.
Among activities are: Gentle yoga Fridays at 10 a.m., Arthritis Foundation exercise Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 p.m., bingo Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., chair volleyball Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 1:45 p.m., watercolor painting Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., knitting Thursdays at 1 p.m. and penny poker, canasta and euchre Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m.
Also, walking videos Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m., beginning Tai Chi on Thursdays at 9 a.m. and mahjong lessons Wednesdays at 1 p.m.
Some other activities are blood pressure and glucose screening clinics the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. and seniors golf Thursdays through October at about 9 a.m. at Raccoon Hill or Oak Knolls golf courses.
The Retired Old Men Eating Out group will visit Jim’s Open Kitchen in Streetsboro on Oct. 13. Massage with Susan Lund will be Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A Halloween luncheon will be Oct. 19 at 1:30 p.m. and men can hear a presentation about advanced directives with Gerri McGonagle of Great Lakes Caring on Oct. 31 at 2 p.m.
Trips coming up are: Oct. 14 — Scioto Downs Casino in Columbus; Oct. 17 — lunch bunch at Ray’s Place in Kent; Oct. 18 — Packard Music Hall for “RocOpraNatra”; Oct. 19 — brown bag concert at Trinity Cathedral; Oct. 21 — Severance Hall for Brahm’s Fourth.
Oct. 24 — Holeden Arboretum; Oct. 25 — B.A. Sweeties candy store, Malley’s Chocolates and lunch at 100th Bomb Group; Nov. 3 — “Finding Neverland” at Palace Theater; Nov. 7 — lunch bunch to PF Chang’s; Nov. 9 — Horseshoe Casino; Nov. 11 — Packard Music Hall for Home Free concert.   
The parks-rec department is in the Walker Building on West Pioneer Trail. Hours are weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
