The Hudson boys cross country team won the 14-team Stow Bulldog Invitational with 59 points Oct. 8 at Silver Springs Park in Stow.

Cleveland St. Ignatius finished second with 69 points and Woodridge took third (70).

Twinsburg's Ryan Adkins placed first out of 133 runners with a time of 15 minutes, 44.98 seconds.

Adam Beucler led the Explorers with a fourth-place time of 16:21.82.

Hudson's next three runners reached the finish line almost at the same time.

Evan Manley (16:38.14) and Jack Good (16:38.96) captured 11th and 12, respectively, and Jacob Russo placed 13th (16:39.17).

Eric Halford rounded on the Explorers' team score with a 19th-place time of 16:49.46.
