The Hudson boys basketball team lost to Suburban League National Conference rival Stow-Munroe Falls 68-59 Dec. 22 at Stow's James G. Tyree Gymnasium.
The Explorers cut the Bulldogs' lead to a deuce (42-40) early in the fourth quarter, but Hudson got no closer.
Stow's Nathan Bower-Malone led all scorers with 26 points and Logan Huffman, Logan Lindsay and Coryon Rice each had 11 points for the Bulldogs.
Zack Meder led Hudson with 20 points and Mike Piekarski added a career-high 14 points for the Explorers.
The Bulldogs used fullcourt pressure to bother Hudson's guards throughout the game. As a result, the Explorers finished with 19 turnovers. Stow had nine miscues.
Hudson posted a 44-38 victory in the junior varsity game. Evan Jones led the Explorers with 11 points.
Hudson's freshman team posted a 40-39 win to improve to 5-0.
