The Hudson girls tennis team fell to 3-3 on the season after losing a 4-1 decision to Western Reserve Academy Aug. 26 on the road.
The Pioneers improved to 3-1 on the season.
The Lady Explorers’ lone victory came at first doubles.
Lindsey Tanner and Cassidy Lewis earned a 7-6, 6-3 win.
Reserve got wins from Sydney King (6-3, 6-0), MacKenzie Deeter (6-0, 6-2) and Alicia Ma (6-4, 6-4) in singles’ play and its second doubles team of Elizabeth Wood and Sophie Shen (7-5, 2-6, 7-6).
