The Hudson volleyball team went 2-1 at a quad Aug. 23 at Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls.

The Lady Explorers lost a 25-16, 26-24 decision to Walsh and earned a 25-15, 25-13 win over Wadsworth and a 25-12, 25-21 victory over Brecksville-Broadview Heights.

Against Walsh, Jordan Mackay had a huge match with 14 kills, 12 digs and six blocks.

Alyssa Disandis added 20 assists and Sarah Young had 26 digs and six service points. Gina Holland contributed 17 digs.

Allison Rense and Lindsay Schlabach each had five blocks and Alena Madar finished with four kills for Hudson.

Mackay had six kills and three blocks against Wadsworth. Disandis finished with 11 assists and Madar had four blocks and three kills.

Also contributing for the Lady Explorers were Holland (13 digs), Young (11 digs), Amanda Przybocki (eight digs) and Olivia Baumhoer (four blocks).

Mackay had a huge match against Brecksville. She led the way with 17 kills and eight digs.

Rense had four kills and two blocks and Disandis finished with 28 assists.

Holland added eight digs and six service points and Young finished with eight digs. Madar contributed three blocks.
