The host Hudson boys lacrosse team made a stellar postseason debut.

The Explorers improved to 13-4 with a lopsided 27-2 victory over Green in a Division I regional contest May 24 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.

It was Hudson's sixth consecutive victory.

The Explorers had a 57-16 advantage in shots and a 75-26 edge in ground balls. Hudson also won 25 of 30 face-offs,

Chris Motter won 17 of 19 face-offs and had 17 ground balls. He also had two goals and one assist.

Gabe Vehar finished with four goals and Bo Lori had two goals and three assists. Kyle Ator had two goals and one assist.

Sean O'Loughlin, Zach Nye and Cameron Haggerty each had two goals and Mick Mougey, Nathan Menendez, Sam Gregory and Dan Brady each had one goal and one assist.

Also finding the nets once apiece were Michael Charlton, Reid Robinson, Brent Zubal, Matthew Bisbee, Josh Conger, Cole Miller and Matt Restifo. Luc Jambon added two assists.
