Aurora High School's varsity baseball team scored two runs in the top of the eighth inning to beat Kenston 3-1 on Wednesday in a Chagrin Valley Conference gzme.

The win upped the Greenmen's CVC mark to 6-3, and they are 15-7 overall. Andy Weber had a double and single, scored two runs and had two RBI. A.J. Kimes was the winning pitcher.

Kenston scored its only run in the third inning and held a 1-0 lead until Aurora tied the game in the sixth.

Meanwhile, the Aurora varsity softball team also beat Kenston behind the pitching of Elizabeth Kimson. Devan Ternai swatted a three-run home run.

The baseball team travels to Olmsted Falls today (Thursday), while the softball squad is at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin.
