The Hudson girls lacrosse team improved to 7-6 after posting an 11-10 victory over Shaker Heights April 29 on the road.

Jackie Kisthardt led the way with four goals and two assists. Maria Russell scored two goals and Cassie Woodward, Kayla Miller, Kasey Thom, Annie Lori and Katelyn Hill each scored once for the Lady Explorers.

Kiley Merrill had two assists and Maddie Valko and Julia Finkenthal each had one assist for Hudson.

Lady Explorers goalkeeper Sarah Price made 19 saves.

Hudson's junior varsity team improved to 9-1 with an 11-6 win over Shaker Heights.

The Lady Explorers also lost a convincing 12-2 decision to Medina April 28 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.

Merrill and Thom each scored for Hudson and Price made 12 saves.

The Lady Explorers were scheduled to visit Cleveland Heights May 1. Results were not available at press time.

Hudson is set to host Stow-Munroe Falls May 5 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.

Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
