The Hudson boys lacrosse team won its third consecutive game after posting an 11-5 victory over Massillon Jackson April 11 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.
The Explorers rallied from a 3-1 deficit after one quarter of play. Hudson improved to 3-2 on the season. The Polar Bears fell to 2-3.
Trailing 3-1 and a man down, thanks to a couple of penalties, the Explorers outscored Jackson 4-0 in the second quarter to take the lead.
Grant Elffers made it 4-3 when he found the net with 7 minutes, 10 seconds remaining in the first half.
Hudson never looked back the rest of the way.
Bo Lori had two goals and two assists and Elffers finished with two goals and one assist. Sam Gregory and Gabe Vehar each had two goals for the Explorers.
Michael Charlton, Mick Mougey and Brent Zubal each scored once for Hudson, which had a 34-28 advantage in ground balls.
Ricky Spradling had two goals for the Polar Bears and Santiago Gil, Luke Remlinger and Steven Coss each scored once for Jackson.
Explorers' goalkeeper Jake Krone made six saves in the nets. Polar Bears' keeper Michael Winkhart stopped five shots.
Jackson had a 29-25 shots-on-goal advantage.
