The Hudson girls and boys bowling teams fell to Northeast Ohio Conference rival Mentor Jan. 16 at the Sto-Kent Family Entertainment Center in Stow.

The girls dropped to 4-6 overall and 4-6 in the NOC after losing a 2,290-1,782 decision .

The boys fell to 2-10 overall and 2-10 in the NOC after suffering a 2,317-2,165 setback to Mentor.

Angela Piazza led the Lady Explorers with scores of 183 and 199, respectively.

Also faring well for Hudson were Elaina Arsham (155 and 124) and Geneva Liljestrand (121 and 148).

Taylor Turrin led the boys team with scores of 233 and 148. Rounding out the top five for the Explorers were Bobby Shanks (198 and 153), Logan Booth (196), Donny Geisler (182) and Hunter McCollough (168 and 147).

The Hudson junior varsity boys team posted a 1,843-1,815 win. Alec Brechtelsbauer led the Explorers with scores of 181 and 138.

All three teams are scheduled to host NOC foe Brush Jan. 22 at the Sto-Kent Family Entertainment Center. Bowling is set to begin at 4:15 p.m.
