The Stow-Munroe Falls boys basketball team fell to 6-7 overall and 1-4 in the Northeast Ohio Conference River Division after losing a 42-33 decision to Twinsburg Jan. 18 on the road.

The game was tied at 29 early in the fourth quarter before the Tigers (10-2, 4-1) made a 7-0 run. The Bulldogs made just 6-of-16 foul shots for the game and had some costly turnovers down the stretch.

The game was close until Twinsburg pulled away. Cooper Rea's long-distance buzzer-beating bomb from several feet beyond the three-point arc gave the Tigers a 23-21 lead at halftime.

Sean Marable led Twinsburg with 16 points and A.J. Edwards had six points, 12 rebounds and six blocked shots. Stow's Matt Beech led all scorers with 19 points. Jacob Williams added eight points for Stow. The Tigers had a 23-19 edge on the glass.
