Tag Day for Falls Youth Football set for Aug. 4

On Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Cuyahoga Falls Black Tiger Youth football, cheerleaders and dance team members will be canvassing the neighborhoods of Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake asking for donations from area residents. The youth will also be stationed at several local businesses also asking for donations.

Tag Day is a major fundraiser sponsored by the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers Youth Football Booster Club. This fundraiser supports the youth football players, cheerleaders and dance team members.

Each year approximately 300 youth will sign up for the various teams. This program has been in existence for about 42 years and was put together to provide a healthy competition and quality instruction for aspiring football players and cheerleaders for more than 42 years.

Funds received from Tag Day will be used to purchase, repair or replace equipment, uniforms and to also maintain home field

Tag Day youth will be wearing black and gold clothing.
