The Walsh Jesuit baseball team saw its dreams of repeating as Division II state champion end May 24, thanks to an 8-7 loss to Sandusky Perkins in a Division II regional semifinal game at Galion's Heise Park.

Walsh had a 5-1 lead after three innings, but committed seven errors in the loss. Walsh had 13 hits in the game.

Starting pitcher Josh Raggi suffered his first loss of the season to finish at 7-1. Walsh finished the year at 24-5.
