In the spirit of this beautiful spring weather we're having, we've freshened up our website a bit.
In the past week, online readers may have noticed a tweak to the design of our homepage at twinsburgbulletin.com. We're now displaying our top five stories in one module instead of effectively hiding four of those headlines in what was called a "carousel" design. Since the point of putting those stories in the carousel is to highlight them, we wanted to make it easier for visitors to our site to see them. We think this change helps a lot with that.
Not far down the road though, you'll be seeing a brand new, updated version of our website. This summer there will be a complete redesign taking place. More on that later, but we think you'll like it. It should be easier to use and to navigate, and it will have a more dynamic look.
And we also encourage readers, if you haven't, to "Like" our Facebook page. We're always posting and sharing interesting local content on that page and we welcome your comments and contributions.
On a personal note, I want to thank everyone in the community who I've gotten to meet and talk to over the past few months.
I just began my 18th year with Record Publishing Co., and although I knew many of you from my previous position as associate editor which I held for 15 of those years, the last five months as executive editor have given me a chance to reacquaint myself with some of you, and meet more of you. It's been great and frankly, I'm just getting started. If I haven't met you yet, I hope to soon.
Have a great spring!
