I recently found out about the Veterans Resources section of our city website and I was so excited to see this new addition.

I want to thank our City Councilman Adam Miller for spearheading this effort and taking an active role in empowering veterans in Cuyahoga Falls. As a member and leader of several local veterans groups, I am very pleased with the amount of resources listed on the city website and I know they will be very helpful to our veterans and military families. Too many veterans and military families are unaware of the benefits they have earned, and/or, they have trouble finding credible sites that assist them with benefits questions.

Additionally, I want to say thank you to Councilman Miller for his support and assistance with our torn and tattered flag program and spirit star program, sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America 900 and Crooked River Veterans Foundation, where we respectfully retire American flags. Readers can find the flag boxes to dispose of torn and tattered American flags at city hall, Quirk Cultural Center or by contacting Councilman Miller. I would encourage readers to learn more about the Veteran Resources section on our city website: www.cityofcf.com/veteran-resources.
