I am writing about the letter, "Wants roads fixed before Front Street project starts" (March 5 Falls News-Press, Page 8).

I am in agreement with the writer that just about every street in Cuyahoga Falls is in dire need of repair, whether they are named streets or numbered, side streets or main thoroughfares. A haphazard patching job just doesn't cut it anymore. Vehicle tires just throw out the patching material and the potholes reappear. Residents are tired of dodging or driving into potholes. The streets need to be paved correctly. Before spending $13 million on the renovation of the Front Street Mall, please fix our streets. You can start with Phelps Avenue, please.
