Sleight of hand. Under which shell is the real cost of the Front Street project? Is it $10 million, $13 million, $16 million? Does the cost include revamping the parking decks or doesn't it? What commitments does the administration have from potential businesses? (Remember, Portage Crossing was slowed until the developer had commitments from anchor stores and others.) What is the hurry to push the Front Street project? Why not take the necessary time to investigate the entire project, including the parking decks? Could the answer be a November election for mayor?
