Regarding the article in the May 7 Advocate about city snowplowing -- "City keeps lid on salt, OT despite harsh winter" -- my family moved here because of good road care.

I was horrified to see where the article said what a great job the city is doing with snowplowing. This year, the roads weren't taken care of better.

There were two days when the roads were so covered with snow, I couldn't get to work, and we couldn't get to church. There was a weekend that no plow went down my street at all. I felt like we had pretty bad service.

I was not impressed.
