A few weeks ago,

my husband and I were lucky enough to be able to offer our time to Camp Huddle.

For those of you who don't know what this is, it is an afternoon of noncompetitive fun for individuals with or without special needs. We were helping to prepare the free lunch that was part of the afternoon.

It is a beautiful event and I hope that more people will become involved and include their children.

Thank you to Diane Rittenberger and Karen Issacs for being a big part of the organization of this event.

The thing that really impressed me was the fact that about 60 Nordonia High School students volunteered their time in the middle of a chilly Sunday afternoon to work one on one with these kids, who might not ever get to do this otherwise.

Thank you to Camp Huddle for including us, and a great big thank you to the high school students.

So often we hear such negativity about our young people. Not this time. Very special thanks.
