THUMBS UP to Cuyahoga Falls Police officer Greg Kenepp, who was the winner of the Cleveland Cavaliers' inaugural EveryFAN contest. On March 15, a group including Cavs Girls, Scream Team members, in-arena host Ahmaad Crump and Greg's wife Pam and son Greg II made a surprise visit to the city's municipal building to tell Kenepp that he had been selected from more than 300 nominees for the award. Kenepp was recognized at halftime of the Cavaliers' game against the Miami Heat March 20. For the contest, the Cavaliers organization sought to honor a fan who had made a difference in his or her community. Kenepp, who was nominated for the distinction by his son, has served as Santa Claus for a local children's hospital, served as a member of Akron Children's Hospital's "Doggie Brigade," and has coached youth community baseball.

We congratulate him on being rewarded for his community involvement and hope he had a chance to savor his celebratory evening.
