As Corresponding

Secretary for Good Neighbors Inc., Cuyahoga Falls, my colleagues and I wish to send a heartfelt "Thank You" to all who have supported the Cuyahoga Falls unit of Good Neighbors during 2012. This unit serves Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Munroe Falls, Hudson, Peninsula and Silver Lake.

We are grateful for the community's many contributions.

Good Neighbors wishes to share some of the things we were able to accomplish with the community's help:

During the year, $58,000 was spent on 3,192 emergency food orders;

School clothes and supplies were provided to 447 children. Also, a shoe voucher was given to each child for a sum total of $4,470.

At Christmas, we served 510 families representing 1,437 adults, seniors and children with a food basket, gloves and three or four gifts per person.

Our total clientele during the 2012 year was 962 families (1,384 adults and 972 children). Due to the community's generosity, we were able to help with various needs including clothing, household items and food.

Good Neighbors would like everyone to know that since we are served totally by volunteers, 85 percent of the donations we receive go directly to our clients.

On behalf of the people we serve, we would like to say, thank you for caring.

Jo Ann Trayers, Stow
