I would like to bring to the attention of the city of Aurora the dangerous intersection at Barrington Boulevard and Route 43. For more than one year and since the widening of Route 43, the visibility at the intersection is completely obstructed and if you stop at the stop sign white line on Barrington Boulevard, you are unable to see the crossing traffic coming from the left side on Route 43.

Add to that the newly set speed limit of 45 mph -- most cars are doing 50 -- and you have a recipe for a deadly disaster at that intersection. With more than 600 homes using Barrington Boulevard as their main entry point and the young crowd frequenting the nearby movie theater, I would like to urge the city to install a traffic light and fix the visibility problem before disaster strikes.
