CUYAHOGA FALLS – Robert "Bob" Baker Cochran, 77, passed away January 5, 2018. He was a life-long Cuyahoga Falls resident. He was a 1957 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School going on to receive a Bachelors Degree from Kent State University. He was a proud member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. When schools were first starting to use computers, Bob ran the Western Reserve Educational Computer Consortium providing technology support for the regions schools and school districts. He retired from NEOnet (Northeast Ohio Network for Educational Technology) having served the technology needs of the area school districts for well over 30 years.

Bob was a long-time member and past chairman of the Cuyahoga Falls Oktoberfest Committee working tirelessly to raise funds in support of local causes in the community. In later years, he served as historian of the committee. Bob was instrumental in the formation of the Cuyahoga Falls Little League North, having coached the Dodgers for many years – "The Big Blue from National 2". He was an avid golfer, bowler and loved to travel to Myrtle Beach.

Preceded in death by his parents, Irene (Cochran) Turley and Harold Cochran; sister-in-law, Ann Cochran and nephew, Todd Cochran; he is survived by his daughters, Aimee Davis (Walter), Dani McIntyre (Brandon) and Maggie Cochran (Seth Jackson); grandchildren, Jacob and Nicholas Davis, Declan and Sloan McIntyre; brother, John Cochran of Hamilton, NY; nephew, Eric Cochran and niece, Jill (Cochran) Baker.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday January 8, 2018 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday January 9. Rev. Kirk Bruce will be officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
