Preceded in death by parents, Frederick and Helen Holmer (nee Kinschner), he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia (Hogan); daughters Michelle Holmer, M.D. (Alex Constable) of Hudson, OH, Malinda (Michael) Breda, Ph.D. of New Bern, NC; grandchildren Samuel, Matthew, and Andrew Constable, Emerson Breda; sister Carol (Edward) Eberhart of Wooster, OH, and brother Fred (Betty) Holmer of Lansing, MI.
