Louise Clerico, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on April 26, 2017. She was born on March 1, 1922 in Akron, Ohio.

Before her children were born, Louise was activity involved in Democratic politics from 1946 to 1956. Louise was President of the Young Women's Democratic Club of Summit County, Secretary of the State League of Young Democratics, and former National Committeewoman of Ohio for the League of Young Democratic Clubs.

She attended the 1952 National Democratic Convention which was held in Chicago.

Louise later had a successful career as a highly accomplished, award winning cosmetic sales woman for the O'Neils/May Company for over 20 years. She was a woman who enjoyed meeting new people, enjoyed shopping, loved animals, especially her cat Smokey and more importantly enjoyed her daily glass of wine.

Louise, like her husband, embodied the definition of "The Greatest Generation". A remarkable person, who always put others first, filled with compassion and generosity.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dino, of 70 years, her infant daughter, Maria; and siblings, Jules, August, Anne, Mary and Jane.

Louise leaves behind her two children, Jeff (Pam) and Patty (Gary); three grandchildren, Amanda, Joe & Jessica; sister, Violet Sandrene, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours where held May 1 at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home in Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, May 2 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
