Christopher Williams, age 42, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, March 4, 2017. He was born February 19, 1975, in Warren, Ohio, to parents Karen Bordeaux-Williams and James Williams. Chris was a member of Cedar Springs, TN Presbyterian Church.

Chris was a 1993 graduate of Twinsburg High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Bowling Green State University. During his professional career in Insurance and Risk Management, Chris and his family resided in Charlotte, Atlanta and Knoxville working for Zurich, Marsh and finally The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). On February 28th, 2017, Chris was recognized by TVA who named "The Christopher M. Williams Courage in Safety Award" in his Honor.

Chris' courageous fight against colon cancer was fueled by his deep love for his family, and his daily intention to live a life of love, kindness, and compassion. His sons were his greatest joy, and will be his lasting legacy. He savored every moment spent biking, hiking, watching movies, and traveling with his family.

Chris was always up for telling a good story or a good joke. He shared secret handshakes, code words, and inside jokes with his kids. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching his favorite teams, and never missed watching his sons participate in a variety of sports. Saturday morning breakfasts were a weekly tradition.

The Sunday night dinners he cooked were always a hit, especially his hamburgers. Ice cream breakfasts for each birthday were especially important. Chris took time to create enduring memories, taking each son on once-in-a-lifetime excursions, and giving them precious keepsakes to mark important milestones. His love, kindness, joy, compassion, loyalty, humility, and sense of humor will continue in the lives of his precious sons.

Chris is survived by his wife, Bethann, and their three sons, Jackson (14), Gavin (11), and Tate (4); parents, James Williams and Karen Bordeaux-Williams and brother, James Williams (Kelly). In addition, Chris leaves behind father-in-law, Dave Hanson (Natasha); mother-in-law, Gladys Hanson; brother-in-law, Tim Hanson (Jennifer); sister-in-law, Deborah Reinhard (Stephen) and sister-in-law, Kristin Nakhla (Michael), several cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
