Michael Alexander Rotonto was born on October 29, 1962, and died on November 11, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic Rotonto and Rosemary Max Rotonto. He is survived by his sister, Kim Rotonto Dregalla and her husband, David.

Mr. Rotonto was a lifelong resident of Hudson. He graduated from Hudson High School in 1980 and graduated with distinction from the University of Akron, where he was president of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was a member of Golden Key, Tau Alpha Pi and Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Societies.

Mr. Rotonto owned Grasshopper Records on Main Street for many years. He also worked with his mother and sister operating The Inn Place, a restaurant and catering service in Park Place.

A celebration of Mr. Rotonto's life will be at 5 p.m. July 5 at the home of his sister. Since Mr. Rotonto was named for two of Hudson's legendary pyrotechnists (his paternal grandfather Michael and Alexander DiMichele) is it hoped that everyone attending will adjourn at dusk to the south of town in order to watch the Hudson fireworks display, a family tradition.
