Judith Ann DeLuca, RN, 68, died April 27, 2014.

Mrs. DeLuca was a graduate of St. Vincent High School where she was a member of the marching band. After graduating from Akron General School of Nursing and a few foreign assignments with her husband, she enjoyed working at Edwin Shaw Hospital for 21 years, retiring in 2001. She was also an officer of the Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses Association. She looked forward to traveling with her card club, especially Eileen Burg, Ellen Kerr and her lifelong friend, Sandy Ziegler. She also enjoyed golfing at Firestone, retired nurses monthly luncheons, St. Anthony grade school alumni dinners and her friendship with Barb Braccio.

Mrs. DeLuca was a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of the Hibernians and was proud of her Irish heritage.

Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Mary Rennie; grandmother, Mary McAleese Brown; and nephew, David Cover, she is survived by her husband of 45 years, Vincent; children, Mark DeLuca, Lynn Veney; son-in- law, Scott Veney; grandchildren, Jacob and Jenna; sisters, Nancy (Bill) Cover, Kathy (Randy) Mates, Terri (Bob) Miller and their families; and cousins, Tim and Lynette McMullen.
