Mary Susan "Sue" Cooper, 48, of Stow, died Feb. 2, 2013 at Hospice Care Center in Copley.

She was born Feb. 27, 1964. in Erie, Pa. to Richard Joseph and Anne Marie (Aleksandrowicz) Lipinski. She was a pet care specialist caring for pets in the Stow-Hudson area for more than 25 years. She volunteered endless hours working with Urgent Ohio Dogs, a community project to network dogs in need of new homes. She also had a passion for gardening, caring for more than 200 daylily varieties. She even created her own varieties through hybridization.

She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Richard "Rick" Lipinski.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, David K. Cooper; son, Tyler Alexander Cooper of Stow; mother, Anne Lipinski of Summerville, S.C.; brothers, Tim (Natthanicha) Lipinski of Hat Yai, Thailand and Christopher Lipinski of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sisters, Cathy (Elmer) Cabotage of Columbus, Judy (Gregg) Lozanoff of Aurora and Lauren (Richard) Eisen of Denver; and sister-in-law, Laure Lipinski of Stow.

A memorial service took place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Aurora, with Father James M. Daprile officiating.
