Great-grandmother of 14

Ethel Enright (Franz), 93, died peacefully surrounded by family on Jan. 14, 2013. Mrs. Enright is survived by her children, Michael (Bonnie), Timothy (Jan), Jeffery (Denise) and Maureen (George) Locher; grandchildren, Beth Nelson and Greg Enright, Mike, Mary and Cathy Enright, Shannon Hercules and Erik Enright, George, Frank, Nick and Joe Locher; 14 great-grandchildren, special niece, Jackie Owen, and many other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Enright was preceded in death by Frank, her husband of 69 years; son, Patrick; daughter, Mary, and sister, Margaret Day.

Mrs. Enright was awarded the Womanhood Cup in her 1937 Class at Akron Garfield before marrying and devoting her life to her family. Her interests included singing, playing piano, baking and reading.

She was a Cub Scout leader for her boys and a member of St. Paul's Study Club. After raising their children, Mrs. Enright attended Akron University and worked at Enright Lumber Co. after which Ethel and Frank enjoyed their Northampton century home, "Yesteryear."

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Akron, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home in Fairlawn handled the arrangements.
