Donald H. 'Don' Walter

Donald H. "Don" Walter died Nov. 30, 2012.

He was born April 24, 1924. Mr. Walter was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for more than 60 years and retired as a postmaster in Aurora. He enjoyed several jobs to keep busy after retirement. He spent time with friends, traveled, read, and especially loved playing the piano. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.

Mr. Walter is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy, and their sons, Ken (Patricia) Walter, of Cuyahoga Falls, and Jeff Walter (Michael Shirreffs), of Washington, D.C.; and grandchildren, Kylie and Kevin (Britany) Walter, both of Cuyahoga Falls.

A memorial service took place at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Wallace of Trinity United Church of Christ officiated and burial took place in Oakwood Cemetery.
