Worked 40 years at Ford Motor

Services were Dec. 5 at His Ministry between Aurora and Mantua for Robert R. Galloway, 75, who died Nov. 30, 2012, at his residence in the Mantua-Aurora area.

He was born Sept. 7, 1937, in Clay County, N.C. Formerly of Cleveland, he had been a resident of the Aurora- Mantua areas since 1973.

He was an employee of Ford Motor Co.'s Walton Hills Stamping Plant, retiring in 1999 after 40 years of service. At His Ministry he was head usher and a member of the gospel team and visitation staff.

On June 15, 1957, he married Joyce C. (Mladek) Galloway who survives at their home.

Also surviving are his sons Robert M. (Denise) Galloway of Streetsboro and David B. (Michelle) Galloway of Aurora; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers Gary (Barb) Manning of Indianapolis and Larry (Carol) Manning of Brunswick.

Pastor James Atkins officiated at the service. Mr. Galloway was buried Dec. 6 at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township. Green Family Funeral Home and Crematory Service handled arrangements.
