87-year member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ

Helen Caroline Holt, 90, died Oct. 25, 2012. Mrs. Holt was born in Salem, W.Va., and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since she was 3 years old. She was an 87-year member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ, a 1940 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, was a member of Hale and Vale Garden Club of Northampton and enjoyed bingo, crocheting and doing puzzles. She had worked as a nurse's aide at Green Cross/Cuyahoga Falls General for 32 years.

Preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Klein; husband, John Lewis Holt and sister, Catherine Silliman, she is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Peter) More of Florida, JoAnna (Steven) Davis, Nancy LeVan and Deborah (Dave) Sebastian, all of Cuyahoga Falls; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren with two on the way and sister, Linda (Jon) Middleton of Cuyahoga Falls.

A funeral service was conducted in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, the Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
