A Mass of Christian burial took place May 25 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Solon for Albert J. Sedlak, 83, who died May 22 at Kensington of Anna Maria of Aurora.Born in Cleveland, he attended college for two years and served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II, then became a firefighter, retiring as a battalion chief for the Cleveland department.He is survived by daughters Jackie (Ted) Mowen and Joyce (Mark) Grilli; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister Ages (Lou) Bystricky.He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine A., parents Louis and Agnes and siblings Louis, Norma Mack and Ruth Morse.Burial was in All Saints Cemetery. Ferfolia Funeral Home in Sagamore Hills handled arrangements.
