The following people were recently indicted by a Portage County grand jury. Indictments are only charges and not evidence of guilt:

Jessica F. Cuppett, 30, of Newton Street in Akron, and Gene M. Compton Jr., 31, of Burkhardt Avenue in Akron. One count each of aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), both fifth-degree felonies, and possession of drug abuse instruments (a glass smoking device), both second-degree misdemeanors.

Jon M. Floyd, 36, of Uniontown. Aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), a fifth-degree felony.

Justin K. Guysinger, 27, of Columbus. Aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), a fifth-degree felony, and falsification, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Jasean D. Kelly, 23, of 421 S. Walnut St., Ravenna. Aggravated possession of drugs (Adderall XL), a fifth-degree felony.

Kenneth T. Lewis, 36, of 4861 Smith Road, Rootstown. conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility, a third-degree felony, and aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), a fifth-degree felony.

Meghan N. McMullen, 28, of 7609 Route 43, Franklin Township. Two counts of aggravated possession of drugs (Adderall pills and capsules), both fifth-degree felonies.

Deonca S. Noble, 24, of Escondido, Calif. Vandalism (an apartment in the 100 block of North Chestnut Street in Ravenna), a fifth-degree felony.

Joseph D. Russell, 30, of Avon Avenue, Akron. Illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility, a third-degree felony, two counts of trafficking in drugs (Suboxone) and one count of possession of drugs (Suboxone), all fifth-degree felonies.

Michael D. Selby, 52, of 9904 S. Delmonte Blvd., Streetsboro. Possession of heroin, possession of cocaine and aggravated possession of drugs (fentanyl), all fifth-degree felonies.
