The following people were recently indicted by a Portage County grand jury. Indictments are only charges and not evidence of guilt:

• Mackenzie R. Ashby, 23, of 161 Oakwood St., Ravenna. Aggravated possession of drugs (fentanyl) and possession of heroin, both fifth-degree felonies.

• Larry R. Boggs, 57, of North Canton. Having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony; two counts of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, both fifth-degree felonies; two counts of OVI and one count of carrying concealed weapons, all first-degree misdemeanors.

• Michael L. Deloney, 26, of Cleveland. Theft and forgery ($1,875.50 from Buffalo Wild Wings in Kent), both fifth-degree felonies.

• Samuel J. Dunkin, 20, of 114 E. Main St., Ravenna. Aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), a third-degree felony; possession of drug abuse instruments (a hypodermic needle or syringe), a second-degree misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia (a metal spoon), a minor misdemeanor.

• Spenser M. Edwards, 31, of 868 E. School St., Kent. Aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), a fifth-degree felony.

• Alan C. Fleck, 23, of Maple Heights. Two counts of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, one fourth-degree felony and one fifth-degree felony; one count of carrying a concealed weapon (a .45-caliber Taurus handgun), a fourth-degree felony; and OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Taylor A. Holzer, 23, of 10476 Holcomb Road, Paris. Felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

• Amanda D. Large, 25, of 1897 Pawnee Place, Kent. Aggravated possession of drugs (M-Amphet salts, a stimulant), a fifth-degree felony.

• Melissa M. Litherland, 28, of 3401 Waterloo Road, Randolph. Theft from a person in a protected class ($200 cash from an elderly or disabled person), a fifth-degree felony.

• Cassandra M. Meek, 26, of Cleveland. Two counts of aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine and hallucinogenic psilocin mushrooms), both fifth-degree felonies.

• Craig A. Stevens, 24, of 502 W. Main St., Kent. Possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

• Mark W. Turner, 33, of 329 New Milford Road, Ravenna. Aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), a fifth-degree felony, and possession of drug abuse instruments (a meth pipe), a second-degree misdemeanor.
