Sara Rillero became the bride of Joshua Buzzard in a June 2, 2018, wedding ceremony at the Chagrin Valley Athletic Club Gardens. The Rev. Hoyte Wilhelm was officiant. 

The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Laura Rillero of Hudson. The parents of the groom are Paul and Marian Buzzard of Westlake. 

Music was provided by Steven and Kate Rillero and A Bride’s DJ for the ceremony that followed a pale blue and lavender color theme. 

Escorted by her parents, the bride was attired in an Allure Bridal All over sheath lace wedding gown with a scalloped neckline and a lacey hem. She carried a front-facing bouquet with lilacs, lavender ocean song roses, white freesia, blue hydrangeas and white ranunculus. 

Emma Rillero of Hudson served as her sister’s maid of honor. Also attending the bride were Emily Buzzard of Cincinnati, the groom’s sister; Rebecca Kaufmann of South Euclid, cousin of the bride; Jessica Monsman of Broadview Heights; and Lynn Barnhouse of Macedonia. 

The best man was Eric Simon of Madison, Conn. Groomsmen were the bride’s brothers, Bill Rillero of Westerville and Steven Rillero of Copley; and Justin Smith of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Rod Nault of Cleveland. 

A reception honoring the couple was at the Chagrin Valley Athletic Club immediately following the ceremony. 

The new Mrs. Buzzard is a 2011 graduate of Hudson High School, a 2014 graduate of Ohio University and a 2017 graduate of the Ohio University School of Physical Therapy. She is employed with HCR ManorCare in Parma. 

Her husband is a 2011 graduate of Westlake High School and a 2015 graduate of Ohio University. He is a student at Case Western Reserve Medical School in Cleveland. 

Following a wedding trip to Breckenridge, Colo., the newlyweds are making their home in Cleveland Heights.
