Theft

Cell phone reported stolen: A Euclid woman reported someone took her $100 cell phone from her Ravenna Road place of employment June 30.

Car stolen from home: A Ravenna Road man reported June 25 that someone took his 2011 model car, valued at about $6,750, from outside his home during the night. Police said an investigation is pending.

A neighbor reported someone took his wallet from his unlocked vehicle during the same approximate time period. A police report did not describe the wallet's contents.

Items taken from vehicle: A Darrow Road woman reported June 25 that someone took a silver necklace, a phone charger and a bag of gum totaling more than $40 in value from her unlocked car while it was in her driveway during the night.

Truck reported stolen: Police said they discovered that a pickup truck found apparently abandoned in a Ravenna Road parking lot June 23 was reported stolen in East Cleveland. Police said East Cleveland police were contacted and the truck was towed from the lot.

Harassment

Man allegedly made threats: A Northfield Village man, 58, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor telecommunications harassment after employees at a Darrow Road business reported June 29 that the man left voicemail messages that included obscene comments and threats. The man was taken to Solon City Jail, where he was held on a 10 percent of $2,500 bond.

Operating a vehicle

under the influence

Woman had high BAC: A 39-year-old Garfield Heights woman was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, blood alcohol content, weaving, marked lanes and open container after police stopped her vehicle on Ravenna Road by Twinsburg City Hall at about 3:20 a.m. June 27. Police said the woman's BAC measured at 0.254 percent, more than three times the 0.08-percent legal limit. She was taken to Solon City Jail.

Drug possession

Man cited during traffic stop: An Eastlake man, 26, was cited with marijuana possession and marked lanes after police stopped his vehicle on Route 91 at Glenwood Drive at about 12:40 p.m. June 29.

Man found asleep in business: An Aurora man, 33, was cited with marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession after police said they discovered the rear door of a Darrow Road business open at about 1 a.m. June 24 and found the man asleep on an office floor. Police said they contacted the business' owner, who told them the man was allowed in the business, but they smelled a strong odor of marijuana and found the man possessed a small amount of suspected marijuana, a marijuana pipe and a marijuana grinder.

Barking dog

Dog was on balcony: An Altamont Drive man, 47, was cited with barking dogs after police responded to a complaint that the man's dog was on his apartment balcony barking at 7:30 p.m. June 22.
