TALLMADGE — Police responded Tuesday morning to two crashes that caused some traffic disruptions on Interstate 76 westbound near Route 532 at about 7:37 a.m., said Police Chief Ron Williams.
Williams said there were no reported injuries in either crash, both of which involved a vehicle hitting the rear of another. He said both crashes were cleared up after about 45 minutes.
"There was one [crash] on each lane, because they pulled off on the sides," said Williams. "It kind of bottlenecked, but the road remained open."
One driver, a Pennsylvania resident, was cited with assured clear distance ahead in one crash, said Williams. He did not have information about citations in the other crash.
