AURORA — Plans for a small housing development called Trentstone Glenns on the north side of Aurora Lake Road were accepted for study at the planning commission’s May 16 meeting.
CSL Consulting LLC is seeking a conditional zoning certificate for the development.
CSL Consulting spokesman Christopher Lachman explained Phase I will consist of seven single-family and six multi-family homes on six acres just west of Cherry Park Oval condominiums. Phase II will be on 12 acres west of Phase I.
Lachman said a single access road into Phase I is planned off Aurora Lake Road. It would wrap around a cul-de-sac near the rear of the property, with a gazebo and stone benches also planned.
He said a stone walking path would wrap around the perimeter of the development, and low stone walls would front Aurora Lake Road and wrap along the access road.
The single-family homes would range from 2,000 to 2,500 square feet with attached garages, while the multi-family homes would be from 1,800 to 2,500 square feet, also with attached garages.
Lachman said a homeowners association would be established to maintain the private street and landscaping. The new homes would be designed in a country French motif.
He added a decorative fence and / or landscaping is planned along the west property line to shield the rear yards from a residential neighbor on the west.
The next planning commission meeting will be June 6 at 6:30 p.m. in Town Hall.
