TWINSBURG — Two people were taken to a hospital following a three-vehicle crash at Route 82 and Hadden Road at about 12:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Injuries to both individuals did not appear to be serious and the transport was a precaution, the fire department reported.
Police Lt. Tom Mason said the crash was the result of a chain reaction collision.
"Two vehicles were stopped in traffic coming down the hill and the third vehicle failed to stop, rear ended one car and pushed it into the car ahead of it," said Mason.
Mason said the female driving the third vehicle, who he did not have any additional information about, was cited with assured clear distance ahead. The drivers of the other two vehicles were injured and the female was apparently uninjured, said Mason.
The fire department said the scene was cleared after about 40 minutes.
