Work is expected to begin Monday on the South Water Street signalization improvement project. Crews will be working on the northbound curb lane of South Water Street, between Summit Street and Beryl Drive, removing and replacing sidewalks.

Work will start at Summit Street and proceed north to Beryl Drive. The northbound curb lane will be closed in the area where crews are working.

Access to driveways and businesses will be maintained.

The project is expected to take several months to complete. For information, call the city’s division of engineering at 330-678-8106.
